The curved yoke
The waistband dips instead of cutting straight across. It's the difference between a low rise that flatters your torso and one that saws it in half.

The hem is a closed, double-stitched finish — not a raw cut edge, so there's no thread to unravel. Under 5'4" and don't want ground contact? Hem it straight to skim the floor in a flat shoe. The leg has no taper, so shortening costs you nothing in shape.
The fade pattern is set into the fabric, not printed on top, so the highlight placement stays where it is. Wash cold, inside out, hang to dry, skip the dryer. Do that and the colour holds through a full season of regular wear.
